The Parking Lot

My favorite anti-impulse-buying trick:

🛒 Under $100 = 48-hour waiting period
🛒 Over $100 = 1-week waiting period

Everything goes into a “parking lot” notes folder first.

I’ve probably bought less than 20% of the items that made the list. Most of the time I realize I don’t need it, don’t want it anymore, or already own something similar.

That little pause has saved me money, reduced clutter, and helped me move toward gentle minimalism without feeling deprived. 👍🏻
